        Andrew Giordano joins the Rutgers-Camden track program after an outstanding season at Gloucester County College, where he finished sixth nationally in the NJCAA Division III pole vault competition. He also placed second in the regional and district meets.

        A four-year varsity track letterman at Paulsboro High School for Coach Ed Ross, Giordano also earned one varsity football letter for the Red Raiders under Coach Glenn Howard. He earned numerous track medals, along with a Scholar Athlete award, the Unsung Hero Award, the Warren Austin Award and the Brotherhood Award. He also was the 2005 class president, placed in the top 10 percent of his class, and was an Urban Scholar and a New Jersey Stars student.

        Giordano enjoys playing ice and roller hockey, paintball and guitar.

        A Finance major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to pursue his MBA, Andrew is the son of Patrick and Jessica Giordano of Gibbstown.
