             Joe Pavlow returns to Rutgers-Camden to join the coaching staff under new Head Coach John Wink. Pavlow was a left-handed pitcher at Rutgers-Camden during the 1996 and 1997 seasons, making seven starts and eight relief appearances over the two seasons. He worked 36-2/3 innings, compiling a 2-5 record.

        Since graduating from Rutgers-Camden in 1997 with a B.A. degree in Economics, Pavlow has built a successful coaching career. He returns to Rutgers-Camden after serving as the head coach at Paul VI High School from 2004-2007, leading the Eagles to a pair of state tournament appearances and the 2004 Olympic Conference National Division co-championship. Paul VI also won the Biff Roseboro Tournament championship in 2007, and Pavlow served as a coach in the Camden County All-Star Game in both 2005 and 2007.

        Prior to his head coaching stint, Pavlow served as the Paul VI junior varsity coach from 2000-2002 and one season as the Audubon High School pitching coach in 2003.

        In addition to his scholastic duties, Pavlow has been active in a number of other baseball coaching positions. He served as a baseball instructor at Grand Slam, USA in 2002, and since 2003 has been coaching at The Hit Doctor Baseball Academy, where he works camps and gives private lessons and team workouts. Since 2006 he also has coached the Tri-State Arsenal program, an elite travel team that is based out of the Hit Doctor and competes at the national level.

        Pavlow also coached the Cherry Hill Junior American Legion during the 2006 and 2007 seasons, qualifying for the league playoffs each season and winning the ECTB Summer Brawl championship in 2006.

        Pavlow was a first baseman/pitcher/outfielder at Overbrook High School from 1990-92, where he hit .375 and won six games during his career.

        A Math and Social Studies teacher at Paul VI High School, Pavlow lives in Cherry Hill with his wife Kim and sons Chase and Luke.
