Gerald Carter returns for his second season with the Rutgers-Camden coaching staff, where he serves as an assistant to Head Coach Brian Wischusen. A graduate of Camden High School, Carter received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers-Camden in 2000, then added his Master’s in Guidance Counseling from Wilmington College in 2005.

        A teacher of the handicapped at Pyne Poynt Middle School in Camden, Carter also coached the Pyne Poynt basketball team for four years. He led his team to back-to-back city championships during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.
