Derrick Levine returns for his second season as an assistant coach with the Rutgers-Camden men’s basketball program, working with his former scholastic Coach Brian Wischusen, who begins his second year as head coach of the Scarlet Raptors. Levine played for Coach Wischusen at Union Catholic Regional High School in Scotch Plains.

        A native of Newark, New Jersey, Levine played four years of scholastic basketball at Union Catholic. He attended Montclair State University and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Political Science. He minored in Criminal Justice.

        Levine served two years as the head junior varsity basketball coach and assistant varsity coach at Union High School.
