Amanda D’Anduono appeared in nine games for the Lady Raptors last season, starting two, and showed the potential to be an outstanding offensive player. D’Anduono went 6-for-12, including a triple and a home run, scored three runs and added one RBI. She finished with 11 total bases for a .917 slugging percentage.
D’Anduono collected her first collegiate hit against Hilbert College (March 15, Game 2). She made her first collegiate start against Neumann College in the nightcap of an April 11 doubleheader and had her best game of the season. She went 2-for-3, including a solo home run, and also had two putouts and four assists as second base as the Raptors posted a 10-7 victory.
D’Anduono was a four-year softball letterwinner at Lacey Township High School, where she played for Coach Mike Shern. She captured All-Shore Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. She earned All-Ocean County honors during her junior and senior seasons with the Lions, and she capped her career being named to the Atlantic City Press newspaper’s All-Area Second Team.
Amanda is the daughter of Cathy and Jerry D’Anduono of Lanoka Harbor.
