Kathleen Malony joins the Lady Raptors’ soccer program this fall after making her Rutgers-Camden athletic debut last year as a member of the crew team. Malony, who has played club soccer with the Cherry Hill Thistles and Mt. Laurel, rowed stroke for the crew program in three regattas last spring. She was a member of the Women’s Frosh/Novice Four that finished third in its heat at the Knecht Cup (April 14) and won the Atlantic Collegiate League Sprints (April 28). She rowed stroke in the Varsity Heavyweight Four boat at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta (May 11-12), helping the Raptors reach the semifinals before finishing sixth in that race.
A graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Malony was a two-year softball letterwinner for the Bulldawgs, winning a Coaches Award in both her junior and senior seasons.
Malony is a Mathematics major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to pursue Actuarial Science or teaching.
