A transfer from New Jersey City University, Milton Suah finally had his chance to play with the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer program during the 2006 season. He appeared in 20 games, starting six, and contributing one assist. His final start came as the Raptors won the ECAC Metro Championship with a 1-0 victory over, ironically, New Jersey City.
Suah’s first collegiate point with the Raptors came in a 5-0 victory over Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 16). He assisted on a late-game goal by Neil Boghean.
Suah played for the Gothic Knights in 2003 and 2004. As a freshman, he appeared in four games, collecting an assist against Mount Saint Mary (Sept. 20, 2003). During his sophomore season, Suah played in 14 games, starting two, and contributing two assists from his fullback position. He had assists in wins over Staten Island (Sept. 4, 2004) and Mount Saint Mary (Oct. 13).
Suah was a three-year soccer letterman at Trenton Central High School, where he earned Most Improved Player and all-county honors. He also served as a team captain.
An Economics major at Rutgers-Camden, Milton is the son of Shelton Suah of Trenton.
