A transfer from  Brookdale Community College, Esteban “Steve” Mozo earned All-Region XIX First Team honors as a sophomore in 2005, when he also was named to the Garden State Athletic Conference First Team. During his freshman season, Mozo helped Brookdale reach the NJCAA Division III semifinals.

        An All-Shoreline Conference First Team player at Long Branch High School from his sophomore through senior seasons, Mozo also earned Group 3 All-State Honorable Mention during his junior and senior years. As a senior, he was named to the Asbury Park Press newspaper’s All-Shore team.

        Mozo, a Pre-Law major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to attend law school, is the son of Sava M. Rosas of Long Branch.
