Brad Gares joins the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer program this season after a standout two-year career as the team captain at Burlington County College. During his sophomore season at BCC in 2006, Gares earned NJCAA All-Region XIX First Team honors.

        Gares had an outstanding soccer career at Burlington Township High School, where he was a four-year varsity starter for Coach Scott Shirk. During his senior season in 2001, he earned First Team Burlington County League Patriot Division honors and was named to the Courier-Postnewspaper’s All-Group 2 Second Team. He was All-Group 2 Honorable Mention as a sophomore and a junior, in addition to earning First Team All-Burlington County honors in the Freedom Division (1999) and the Patriot Division (2000).

        An Accounting major at Rutgers-Camden, Brad is the son of William and Joan Gares of Burlington Township.
