RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

  • For all activities and events, registration information can be found in the Athletic Office, at the Recreation table in the Student Center or downloaded from this website. Any preference to times or days should be included at that time.
  • Intramural sports are a program of Recreational Services in which students, alumni, faculty, and staff compete with each other. Any registered Rutgers-Camden student, or affiliated satellite campus student, active alumnus or current faculty/staff member is eligible to participate regardless of physical ability. 
  • Rosters are needed for all team sport activities.  A designated captain is needed for a contact person. Registration must be completed in entirety before it will be accepted. Individuals without a team but wanting to participate, may register as a “free agent”.
  • All participants, whether for individual or team sports, must fill out a registration form in its entirety, including the appropriate waiver, before participation may occur.
  • All events are free of charge and most events award T-shirts and/or other prizes.
  • All participants are encouraged to have their own insurance. Additional insurance for intramurals, club sports, and activity classes may be purchased at Health Services.
  • All participants should refer to the “Intramural Handbook” for all rules, regulations and policies. This handbook may be obtained from the Athletics and Recreation Office or downloaded from the department website.
