Sophomore forward Samantha Sharp had a big opening week for the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer team, producing three goals in a three-game, three-day span. She opened the season with a pair of goals to produce a 2-0 win over Philadelphia Biblical University Sept. 3. Two days later, she scored the winner in a 2-0 victory over Gwynedd-Mercy College in the Crusader Cup at Alvernia University. She was named to the all-tournament team, and the production allowed her to pass the two goals she scored during her entire freshman season. The game-winning goals were the first of her career.
