Justin Melendez returns for his third and final semester with the Rutgers-Camden golf program this spring. Melendez, who joined the Scarlet Raptors during the 2007 spring semester, has competed in three invitationals on the collegiate level.
Last spring, Melendez shot a 101 to finish fifth on the Raptors at the Tom Ruggieri Invitational II, his first collegiate tournament, which was held on April 10. In his other outing of the spring, he shot 97 at the Wesley College Invitational April 18, also finishing fifth on the Raptors.
Melendez competed in one match during the 2007 fall season, when he finished sixth on the team at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Fall Invitational. He shot a round of 124.
A graduate of Williamstown High School, Melendez is a dual Accounting and Finance major at Rutgers-Camden. He is the son of William and Frances Egolf of Williamstown. |
