       Kathleen Malony returns to the Rutgers-Camden crew program this spring after making her collegiate soccer debut with the Lady Raptors last fall. Malony played in 20 games, making 15 starts, and was one of the top backs on the team, helping Rutgers-Camden post 11 shutouts and an 11-8-4 record.

        Malony rowed stroke for the crew program in three regattas during the 2007 spring season. She was a member of the Women’s Frosh/Novice Four that finished third in its heat at the Knecht Cup (April 14) and won the Atlantic Collegiate League Sprints (April 28). She rowed stroke in the Varsity Heavyweight Four boat at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta (May 11-12), helping the Raptors reach the semifinals before finishing sixth in that race.

        A graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Malony was a two-year softball letterwinner for the Bulldawgs, winning a Coaches Award in both her junior and senior seasons. She also has played club soccer with the Cherry Hill Thistles and Mt. Laurel.

        Malony is a Mathematics major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to pursue Actuarial Science or teaching.

        Kathleen is the daughter of William and Marie Malony of Haddonfield.
