Shamira McNair will give the Lady Raptors a quick, talented addition to their backcourt in her first year at Rutgers-Camden. McNair is a transfer from Camden County College, where she earned Second Team All-Region 19 honors during the 2005-06 season. She was a basketball team captain during her days at Pennsauken High School, where she earned Player of the Week honors and capped her career during the 2004-05 campaign by earning All-Olympic Conference American Division Second Team honors.

        A Criminal Justice major at Rutgers-Camden, Shamira is the daughter of Yvette McNair of Pennsauken.
