Jasmine White had a fine career as a student-athlete at Pennsauken Tech, where she earned nine varsity letters (basketball, volleyball and softball), was named Student of the Marking Period, was a four-year Honor Roll student and captured Most Courageous honors in the 2007 Best of Class awards.
White played her scholastic basketball for Coach Karla Robinson, one of the all-time great Lady Raptors and a member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Hall of Fame. During her stellar career with the Tornados, White became the first female in school history to score over 1,000 points. She earned Second Team All-Olympic Conference National Division honors as a junior and First Team Olympic National as a senior. She was named to the All-Group 2 First Team by the Courier-Postnewspaper and played in the Al Carino All-Star Game.
White was a Player of the Week and a First Team All-Conference player in volleyball and an all-star on the softball diamond as well.
A Nursing major at Rutgers-Camden, she plans to work in the medical field and stay involved with basketball.
Jasmine is the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth White of Camden.
