Greg Hunt joins the Rutgers-Camden baseball program after playing last season at New Jersey Athletic Conference rival Richard Stockton College. Hunt appeared in 16 games for the Ospreys, starting nine, and hitting .250 (6-for-24) with five runs, one triple and four RBIs. He drew four walks, was hit by a pitch and added one sacrifice and one stolen base. Defensively, he had a .972 fielding percentage, with one error in 36 chances.
Hunt earned numerous honors during his baseball career at St. Joseph High School in Hammonton. As a senior in 2006, Hunt was named First Team Cape-Atlantic League National Division and added First Team All-Non Public honors from the Courier-Postnewspaper. He also was named to the Atlantic City Press All-Area First Team after hitting .350 with 32 RBIs.
A Finance major at Rutgers-Camden, Greg is the son of Donna and Gregg Hunt of Marlton.
