Temporary location/Alternate rec facilities

The Rutgers-Camden Athletic Department will be located at 505 Cooper Street in Camden during the 2008-09 school year due to renovations at the campus gymnasium. All phone and fax numbers remain the same.

During the renovations, the Athletic Department has made arrangements for alternate facilities for recreational use. See: Rec facilities

Iwanicki, England capture
Academic All-District 2 honors

Junior Frank Iwanicki was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 2 Men's Track/Cross Country First Team and sophomore Robin England was honored on the Academic All-District 2 Women's Track/Cross Country Second Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Iwanicki's First Team honor makes him eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-American ballot. See: Track

31st at NCAA Championship

Rutgers-Camden's golf team shot a second-round 323 and missed the cut as it finished 31st at the NCAA Division III Golf Championship in Port St. Lucie, Florida, May 14. See: Golf

Iwanicki, Stewart, Grochowski,
Straga, Oswald earn honors
at 2009 Athletics Banquet

Frank Iwanicki and Travis Stewart were named Co-Athletes of the Year, Julie Grochowski captured the Scholar Athlete Award, Dean Straga earned Most Courageous Athlete and Tim Oswald was the Coach of the Year, highlighting the 2009 Rutgers-Camden Athletic Awards Banquet Wednesday night. Senior Travis Stewart earned individual honors and the Scarlet Raptors captured team honors on the USTFCCCA 2008 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Teams. See: USTFCCCA

Rutgers-Camden placed six student-athletes on the Philadelphia Inquirer's Academic All-Area Teams, led by Robin England and Mark Gidjunis, who each were the Performers of the Year for their respective sports. See: Inquirer Academic Team
